Nota aos colaboradores da Revista de Economia Agrícola
1 - NATUREZA DAS COLABORAÇÕES
A Revista de Economia Agrícola, editada semestralmente pelo Instituto de Economia Agrícola da Secretaria de Agricultura e Abastecimento do Estado de São Paulo, publica artigos, comunicações, resenhas de livros e teses, notas e comentários, inéditos, em português, inglês ou espanhol, no campo geral da Economia Agrícola.
2 - NORMAS PARA APRESENTAÇÃO DE ORIGINAIS
a) Os originais de artigos não devem exceder 30 laudas, incluindo notas de rodapé, figuras, tabelas, anexos e referências bibliográficas. As colaborações devem ser digitadas no processador de texto Word for Windows, com espaço duplo, em papel A4, com margens direita e esquerda, superior e inferior de 3cm, páginas numeradas e fonte Times New Roman 12. As resenhas, comunicações, notas e comentários devem ter entre 5 e 10 páginas.
b) Para garantir a isenção no exame das contribuições, os originais não devem conter dados sobre os autores. Em arquivo separado incluir título completo do trabalho (em nota de rodapé, informações sobre a origem ou versão anterior do trabalho, ou quaisquer outros esclarecimentos que os autores julgarem pertinentes), nomes completos dos autores, formação e título acadêmico mais alto, filiação institucional e endereços residencial e profissional completos para correspondência, telefone, fax e e-mail. O Comitê Editorial da revista tomará as providências necessárias para que não haja conflito de interesses.
c) Na organização dos artigos, além do argumento central, que ocupa o núcleo do trabalho, devem ser contemplados os seguintes itens: (i) Título completo; (ii) Resumo e Abstract (não ultrapassando 150 palavras); (iii) de três a cinco palavras-chave; (iv) indicação de até três subáreas conforme o Classification System for Journal Articles do Journal of Economic Literature (JEL); (v) Referências bibliográficas e, sempre que possível, (vi) Introdução e (vii) Considerações finais ou Conclusões.
d) O resumo deve ser informativo, expondo finalidades, metodologia, resultados e conclusões do trabalho. As referências bibliográficas devem ser apresentadas em ordem alfabética no final do texto, de acordo com as normas vigentes da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas, ABNT. Devem ser incluídas apenas as referências citadas no artigo.
e) As notas de rodapé devem ser preferencialmente de na-tureza explicativa, ou seja, que prestem esclarecimentos ou teçam considerações que não devam ser incluídas no texto para não interromper a seqüência lógica do argu-mento. Deve-se evitar as notas de rodapé bibliográficas.
f) As resenhas devem apresentar na primeira página todos os detalhes bibliográficos do trabalho que está sendo resenhado. No caso de resenha de tese ou dissertação, deve-se indicar o nome do autor, a universidade, o nome do orientador e a data da defesa.
3 - REMESSA DOS ORIGINAIS E PUBLICAÇÃO
a) O envio das colaborações deve ser feito por meio eletrônico. Os autores podem acessar o endereço http://www.iea.sp.gov.br/out/publicar/enviar_rea.php, preencher o formulário on-line disponível na página e anexar os seguintes arquivos:
a) Título do trabalho e resumo em Word, com identificação dos autores;
b) Trabalho na íntegra em Word, sem identificação dos autores; e
c) Tabelas, gráficos e figuras em Excel, se houver.
b) Só serão submetidas aos pareceristas as contribuições que se enquadrem na política editorial da Revista de Economia Agrícola, e que atendam os requisitos acima.
c) Os originais recebidos serão apreciados por pelo menos dois pareceristas no sistema double blind review em que o anonimato dos autores e dos pareceristas é preservado durante todo o processo de avaliação.
d) Os autores dos trabalhos selecionados para publicação receberão as provas para correção.
e) Os autores dos trabalhos publicados receberão gratuitamente um exemplar do número da Revista de Economia Agrícola que contenha seu trabalho.
Information and guidelines for contributors
1 - PURPOSE AND SCOPE
Revista de Economia Agrícola - Journal of Agricultural Economics - the scientific journal of agricultural economics, printed semesterly by the Instituto de Economia Agrícola (Agricultural Economics Institute), São Paulo, Brazil, publishes original articles, communications and books and thesis reviews in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
2 - SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
a) The original manuscripts must not exceed 30 pages, double-spaced standard size paper (A4 - 21cmx 29,7cm), numbered pages, including footnotes, tables, figures and references. Materials must be typed in Microsoft Word for Windows, in Times New Roman 12 font size, and all margins must have 3cm. Reviews, communications and research notes must have between 5 and 10 pages.
b) To ensure blind review, author(s) should not be identified in the originals. In a separate file they must include the complete title (in the footnotes, information about the origin or an earlier version of the article, or any other clarifications belong), author’s complete name, appropriate biographical information, institutional affiliations, personal and professional addresses, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail address. The Editorial Committee shall take the necessary measures to prevent a conflict of interests.
c) As for the organization of the manuscript, besides the central argument of the article, the following items must be included: i) Complete title; (ii) Abstract (maximum 150 words); (iii) Three to five key-words; (iv) A maximum of three classification codes (two digits) according to the Classification System for Journal Articles as used by the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL); (v) References, and, whenever possible, (vi) Introduction and (vii) Final considerations or Conclusions.
d) The Abstract must have informative data and state specific aims, methodology and conclusions of the article.
e) Bibliographic references must be in alphabetical order at the end of the text, according to the norms of the ABNT (Brazilian Association for Technical Norms). Only the references mentioned in the text must be listed.
f) Footnotes must be explanatory, i.e., contain clarifications or considerations that should not be included in the text so as not to interrupt the logical flow of the argument. Bibliographic footnotes should be avoided.
g) Reviews must present in the first page all the bibliographic references of the work being reviewed. Thesis or dissertation reviews must include author´s name, university, advisor´s name and defense date.
3 - SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL MATERIAL FOR PUBLICATION
a) All correspondence is through electronic means. Authors are invited to submit research contributions by visiting the website http://www.iea.sp.gov.br/out/ publicar/enviar_rea.php and completing the submission form available on-line. The following items should be uploaded at the time of submission:
b) a. The title of the work and abstract in Microsoft word, with the identification of the author (s);
b. Completed paper in Word, without the identification for the author (s); and
c. Tables, graphs and figures if any) in Excel format.
c) Only the contributions complying with the editorial policy of Revista de Economia Agrícola and the requirements above will be submitted to reviewers.
d) Originals received will be appreciated by at least two reviewers in double blind review procedure: anonymity of authors and reviewers is preserved throughout the evaluation process.
e) Authors of papers chosen for publication will receive proofs for correction.
f) Authors will receive a free issue of Revista de Economia Agrícola containing their published work.
